The full moon in July (in this case also the blue moon) is the day the births of all Gurus are celebrated. Our own Sri K Pattabhi Jois was actually born on the full moon in July. I guess it was meant be be that he would have such an influential impact on the lives of so many people, yogis and non yogis alike. His method is practiced everywhere in the world now. We at Near East Yoga have him to thank for the longevity and positivity of our sangha.
